Blue Screen Errors - How to Fix Them

Do you get frustrated each and every time your computer suddenly turns into a blue screen with all kinds of numbers and letters on it? I feel your pain. Almost everyone who uses a computer has experienced such thing for once in their lives. If you are wondering if your computer is broken, then let me break it to you no, it is not. It is, however, experiencing blue screen errors. This error, more notoriously known as the blue screen of death is an error displayed by a lot of operating systems, most notably the Windows system, once it encounters a critical error. This is a way of preventing more system damage. The usual error message is the one that asks if you have recently installed any kind of software or hardware and asking you to reset your computer. Ctrl + Alt + Del usually works wonders for computer users, but it will not work for the blue screen of death. You probably will end up restarting your computer. This may be a problem for some users who have unsaved data prior to the occurrence of the error.

Installation of software and hardware can sometimes be a cause of blue screen errors over time. Once you installed a program too many on your computer, the whole system may start functioning as slow as a turtle. Some programs that are not really needed are taking too much space in the CPU resources. When this happens, even the simple task of loading the Microsoft Office or opening a window will take forever. The shutting down of the computer will also be a problem.

What are the possible ways of fixing these errors? The most basic way of fixing the blue screen of death is by simply rebooting your computer. You may also shut down the computer and turn it on again after a while. If a reboot works, then you are one lucky person. You may start saving your files on a back-up disk in case the error occurs once again. However, if you belong to the unlucky people who are not able to fix the problem with a simple reboot, there is something more serious within your system.

One of the most effective methods of fixing the blue screen of death is through utilization of a registry cleaner program. A registry is a central database where files of all kinds are being stored. Since people are now very fond of downloading several materials from the Internet and from other resources, they tend to forget the risks involved. Some unwanted programs and files are consuming too much registry space. The registry cleaner will generally clean up the registry, removing all the unimportant programs or files and keeping the ones needed by the computer. Fix the errors if there are any.

If the error still persists after registry cleaner use, go look into your computer's RAM. There are 2 sticks of RAM in the computer. Remove one and see if the computer runs. When you eliminate one of the sticks and the error subsides, it means that the stick of RAM is dysfunctional. What you have to do is buy a new stick. If you, however, tried all of the abovementioned methods and still fail to get rid of the blue screen error, the only thing left to do is to go to a computer shop or have a technician reformat your PC.

Before you go have your PC reformatted and lose all of your necessary files, you better try other ways of fixing the error. Make reformatting your last resort. The Internet is a good source of different methods of fixing blue screen errors. Find one that you can apply on your own to avoid expenses. Finally, once your computer is fixed, prevent the error from occurring again. Avoid downloading unnecessary files to lessen the possibilities of another occurrence of the blue screen of death
